Yesterday I went for the BBQ night in HELP University College organized by Bpsych Dept... It was to build and foster closer relationship between the seniors and juniors..
Being caring & considerate, the seniors were "responsible" to set up the fire... Dr Goh looked soo cute with shorts and t-shirt... ^^ Some lecturers and tutors joined us as well...
At the same time, there were performances going on to have more lively and joyful atmosphere...

It was so fun!
It was tired squatting down, but we enjoy it very much...!! I realised something else which is others love to steal my food away.. (shouldn't be the chicken walking away...) They stole my chicken wing..stole my satay...*huh!* I think it should be due to my bbq-ing skills...The food I bbq must be nicer & tastier like a chef...That's why they love to steal mine... *Hmmm.....* =P

We all were sweating so heavily... Soooo Smoky....
I smelt like "bbq"...sweaty & oily... (>.<) Here comes the "A-HA" effect... (light bulb lights up) --- No worries.. Sunsilk Shampoo & Conditioner!! I showered by using Sunsilk Shampoo & Conditioner... It SMELLS GOOD after all... YAY!!! Say ByeBye to smoky, sweaty, oily hair~!!! v(^o^)v

With Sunsilk Shampoo & Conditioner, all hassles & worries are gone!!!

Bad hair day?!

Posted by Rehka at 7:03 PM 0 comments
You know when you have those mornings where you wake up all groggy and flustered from pulling an all nighter just to finish those assignments you have pending on your plate or from last minute studying for the finals the next day?

Well, I burned the midnight oil yesterday just to prepare for today's presentation. This presentation is to fulfil our academic requirement which carries weight for our overall grades. The topic of my presentation was on Anorexia and Bulimia. Contrary to popular belief, there is a vast difference between the two however, people tend to get their definitions confused. Yes, I presented on a common problem faced by many girls and women at this age of time. This common eating disorder is faced by girls who 'think' or 'feel' that they are fat due to the portrayal and misleading beliefs that women need to be thin in order to be pretty.

The simple definition for Anorexic is basically people who do not eat. The simple and easy to understand definition of Bulimic is binging and purging. People who eat and then throw up. People with these eating disorders will never admit that they have an eating problem and they will be in denial. In their mind, they are aleays fat and that is why they refuse to take in any food. These eating disorders deteriorates one's health and the condition of the body.

The mainstream media is the cause of this projection of 'beautiful' women. We are being brainwashed and influenced by what we see on TV. Due to peer pressure and the mindset of the society, many women strive for perfection which leads to an obsession of losing weight. There are always healthy ways to lose weight like exercising and a balanced meal diet. However, those who want the easy way out and do not have the time tend to go for life threatening alternatives like being anorexic or bulimic. It is also known to be a psychological challenge where they tend to have a mindset that they are fat although in actual fact they are of the right weight and size.

Our eating habits and nutritional intake can affect our appearances and also not forgetting the condition of our hair. Healthy people tend to have lustrous and healthy hair. We have to keep a balanced diet to maintain soft skin and shiny hair. Eating lots of junk food and having unhealthy eating habits will cause the hair to thin down, lose their shiny look and also causes hair fall. Hair reflects a persons' condition internally as well. Cultivating good eating habits and using the right shampoo for your hair will definitely ensure strong and lustrous hair that will be the envy of everyone else.

Eating disorders can ruin your life. Love yourself for who you are! All of us are special in our own unique way. Beauty lies in the eys of the beholder! remember that. Someone somewhere will appreciate you for who you truly are. Do not conform to what the media paortrays women to be. We are better and stronger than that. We should be proud of the way we are. Turning anorexic and bulimic is not the way to go.

But coming back to my story, I was rushing for class this morning for presentation. I was in a mess and felt so disarrayed due to lack of precious sleep. I had to throw on some formal clothing and pull myself together. I looked pretty composed and I had everything on nicely except for my hair! It was one of those days where my hair was flying in all sorts of directions. It wasn't my morning at all. Because I was in a hurry, the best solution was to take out my pink Sunsilk Leave on Conditioner and apply the product onto my hair. Instantly I saw the difference. I managed to 'tame' my hair. lol. It takes less than one minute to apply. After running the product through my hair, it became smooth and so much more easier to manage.

It is during hard times when you learn to appreciate the little little things in life. I had a hectic morning and a bad hair day but not anymore! And for this, I really thank my lucky stars that I have found Sunsilk, my reliable companion at times of need. Sunsilk has made a while lot of difference in my life. =)

I wrote "damn tired" on my fb's wall..and i received a message from 1 of my local church's aunt. Here is what she said ,

" Don't write damn anymore.Check dictionary and you will know."

I was shocked.Sound serious. I donno the real meaning of "damn" as i thought it means "very"..

So I check the dictionary..It said DAMN is..

a.a swear word that people use to show that they are annoyed, disappointed, etc.:
Oh damn! I forgot he was coming.

b. a swear word that people use to emphasize what they are saying

Are we rude ...when we use the word "damn"?

Hair Care Tips!

Posted by Rehka at 11:10 PM 0 comments

Here are some hair care tips I’ve learned to practice over the years that I would love to share:

1) When washing hair, never leave the shampoo on the scalp and hair for too long (it does not make your hair smell better even if you leave it on longer) as it will cause hair fall because all types of shampoo are too strong for the scalp and the roots of the hair.

2) Use conditioner after every wash.

3) When using conditioner, start applying form the ends of the hair and work your way slowly up. Do not put it on the scalp as it causes oily hair later in the day.

4) Use cold water to wash the hair and rinse off all residue instead of warm water. This is because warm water causes the scalp to produce more oil.

5) Make sure you rinse your hair thoroughly.

6) Using hair treatment every once in a while ensures stronger and healthier hair.

7) When blow drying hair, keep it at minimal heat and far away from the hair as much as possible. Do not blow directly onto your hair as it dries and damages the hair.

8) Apply Sunsilk’s Leave on Conditioner as a light touch up before leaving the house and you will have hassle free hair for the rest of the day! Make sure you keep a bottle with you in your bag at all times! *winks*

9) Using conditioner helps hair tangle management. Lol. Get smooth and tangle free hair just by running your fingers through your hair because thanks to Sunsilk’s Conditioner, your hair is now tangle free!

Conditioner & Leave On Conditioner

Posted by Rehka at 5:39 PM 0 comments

Why Sunsilk celebrates ONE Minute to Great Hair

We personally believe that the objective of this campaign is to educate and create awareness that it only takes one minute to condition one's hair into looking great!

Disregarding women or men, we all have hectic lifestyle & we find that we do not have enough time to be detailed and lose precious time on little things in life. Hence, we tend to neglect personal grooming and be ignorant about our appearances as we are always rushing out the door trying to beat the jam. Somehow or other, we tend to forget the little things which makes a whole alot of difference.

The extra time we take to make sure that our clothes are ironed properly, the little extra time we take to make sure that our make up is applied evenly with perfection, the time we take to make sure that our clothes look near and in place, and the extra time we spend to make sure that our hair is neat and tidy after you step out that door!

Hair is one of the elements that contribute to our overall looks. It is vital to keep strong and nice hair. We have to admit first impressions play a vital role in our life when it comes to the opposite gender and also when it comes to work. It is important how we portray ourselves as it reflects our attitude and personality. Nobody is attracted to any untidy appearance. It gives people negative vibes.

Therefore, personal grooming is very important~! It is all about how you bring yourself. Sunsilk's Conditioner only takes ONE minute.
Just apply at the ends of your hair and slowly work your way up after shampooing.
Please remember not to condition your scalp as well because it will cause excessive oil to be produced.

Leave the Sunsilk Conditioner on for ONE Minute and then rinse it off.
If you have oily scalp, another tip is to wash your hair with cold water. Washing your scalp with warm water will only trigger and cause your scalp to produce more oil throughout the day.
After ONE Minute of conditioning, VIOLA~!!!
It's a keep!
It's the solution for people who are always on the go and don't have the time to maintain better hair.

Sunsilk's Conditioner saves time and is effective! We get to kill 2 birds with one stone! YAY!

With better maintained hair, it will help boost self confidence and self esteem!
For those women who are really rushing in the morning and sometimes tend to forget to condition their hair, we have the perfect solution! Women have mastered the art of applying make up in the car! And now, with Sunsilk's Leave On Conditioner, even if you forgot to condition your hair, you just take our the convenient little bottle out of your bag & apply it straight onto your hair in the jam.
SIMPLE & EASY!
It's just hassle free! It's one of our best companion as we bring it everywhere we go.

Sunsilk is our hair's best friend!!!

Sunsilk in Yellow !!

Posted by Rehka at 10:26 AM 0 comments

Sunsilk in YELLOW , have you see it before? I saw it !!! I went to North Thailand last month and I noticed it in Tesco Lotus. Shocked me ! I never know that Sunsilk got Yellow color till I met it in Thailand. It consists of smooth egg and almond oil which helps the hair to be soft and smooth.

I was like a small kid from small village when i met it...My friend even laugh at me and called me "3 8" which mean "stupid" in hokkien. Pittiful Reb. =P

Not much different from Malaysia, except the yellow color...What about other countries? Any other color in other countries?
